For a series of social-first films for OnePlus, I developed concepts designed to highlight key product features while connecting with a younger audience. Each film focused on a different key selling point, translating technical capabilities into relatable, story-driven moments.
Rather than demonstrating the features literally, the films used humour and everyday scenarios to make the technology feel more human and shareable. One example follows a rapper whose girlfriend thinks heβs ghosting her, when in reality his phone has died β turning battery endurance into a funny, recognisable situation.
I led the concept, scripts, and direction, shaping the tone to feel cinematic, warm, and authentic while staying true to the OnePlus brand. I also produced the lyrics and music, grounding the films in real music culture while subtly connecting the stories back to the product.
